Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: QB | RB | WR | TE | PK | DT
If you are serious about winning your fantasy league football championship, stay on top of your fantasy football team throughout the year. Each week during the NFL fantasy football season, KFFL brings you its Fantasy Football Waiver Wire, which breaks down players to pick up. Be aggressive when picking up fantasy football free agents. Even if you do not need a player, you can tuck him away for depth or block others from adding him to their fantasy football team. Note: Percentage of polled leagues in which player is available in parentheses Fantasy football free agents: Priority additionsThe following players should be high on your radar and are worthy of being added immediately to your fantasy football team. James Starks, Green Bay Packers (58 percent) If anyone was clinging to Alex Green, Sunday's win over the Detroit Lions was further proof that Starks is now the man in Green Bay (at least until Cedric Benson returns). Starks carried the ball 25 times for 74 yards; meanwhile Green did not register a touch. Despite middling production, Starks deserves to be owned in all formats. Ronnie Hillman, Denver Broncos (72 percent)
Hillman (12 carries, 43 yards) saw the majority of the action over Lance Ball after Willis McGahee departed with a knee injury. The rookie has some decent upside, and McGahee has been placed on Injured Reserve. Lance Ball and Knowshon Moreno should be involved, to lesser degrees, than Hillman, however. Fantasy football free agents: Look to acquireThe following players will have greater significance in deep fantasy football leagues. In shallow fantasy football leagues, they are not as high of a priority but should be considered based on your fantasy football team's needs. Jalen Parmele, Jacksonville Jaguars (100 percent) Jacksonville turned the page from Rashad Jennings to Parmele in Week 11, and the journeyman responded with 80 yards on 24 carries (he added three catches for three yards). Maurice Jones-Drew (foot) recently said he hoped to return "in a couple weeks," but that's open-ended. Those desperate for help should grab Parmele now and take advantage while they can. Bryce Brown, Philadelphia Eagles (96 percent) LeSean McCoy sustained a concussion in Week 11 and was carted off the field. It's unknown how severe the injury is, but Brown would be the next man up should McCoy be forced to miss time. McCoy owners should secure their investment and add Brown immediately. Others can wait for an update. Wells, who hasn't played since Week 3 due to a toe injury, is slated to return to action this weekend. LaRod Stephens-Howling has been keeping the position warm, but the former first-round pick is a more talented every-down back that should relegate Stephens-Howling to spot duty in short order. Add him now as late-season depth. Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: QB | RB | WR | TE | PK | DTAbout Herija C. Green
