Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: QB | RB | WR | TE | PK | DT
If you are serious about winning your fantasy league football championship, stay on top of your fantasy football team throughout the year. Each week during the NFL fantasy football season, KFFL brings you its Fantasy Football Waiver Wire, which breaks down players to pick up. Be aggressive when picking up fantasy football free agents. Even if you do not need a player, you can tuck him away for depth or block others from adding him to their fantasy football team. Note: Percentage of polled leagues in which player is available in parentheses Fantasy football free agents: Priority additions
The following players should be high on your radar and are worthy of being added immediately to your fantasy football team. Blair Walsh, Minnesota Vikings (33 percent) Now that Greg Zuerlein and Justin Tucker have vanished off of most waiver wires, Walsh is the last of the surprising rookies still out there. Walsh is 12-for-13 on the season in field goal attempts, and he has scored at least eight points in all but one of his five games. With Minnesota continuing to outperform expectations he's worth adding to your roster. Tampa Bay hasn't been an offensive juggernaut, but they've moved the ball enough to provide Barth with nine field goal attempts in four games this season. As a result, Barth has scored at least 10 points in all but one of those contests. With a pair of defensive lightweights, the Kansas City Chiefs and New Orleans Saints, looming on the schedule over the next two weeks he's a solid addition. Fantasy football free agents: Look to acquireThe following players will have greater significance in deep fantasy football leagues. In shallow fantasy football leagues, they are not as high of a priority but should be considered based on your fantasy football team's needs. Over the last 21 games, the combination of Graham Gano and Billy Cundiff has averaged 2.5 field goal attempts per contest. That's a lot of opportunities. If Forbath can stabilize the kicking situation in D.C. he could hold some sneaky value. Fantasy football free agents: One-week playsThe following fantasy football pickups are for those who need injury or bye week replacements. They are not players you immediately acquire - unless your team is in dire straits. Some have, however, shown some life and should be followed in case they materialize as options beyond their temporary use. Although the Eagles feature a potentially explosive offense, Henery has only surpassed six points in a game once this season. The second such instance could come this week when Philly hosts the Detroit Lions. Just two teams have allowed more points per game to opposing kickers than Detroit (10.33) over the last four weeks.
