Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: RB - Week 5 (with video)
If you are serious about winning your fantasy league football championship, stay on top of your fantasy football team throughout the year.
Each week during the NFL fantasy football season, KFFL brings you its Fantasy Football Waiver Wire, which breaks down players to pick up. Be aggressive when picking up fantasy football free agents. Even if you do not need a player, you can tuck him away for depth or block others from adding him to their fantasy football team.

Fantasy football free agents: Priority additions
The following players should be high on your radar and are worthy of being added immediately to your fantasy football team.
It was expected that when Ryan Matthews returned to the lineup he would be the primary back for the Bolts. Instead, his fumbling issues created an opening that the 240-pound Battle has charged through. In Week 4, Battle found the end zone twice (one rushing, one receiving) for the second time in three weeks and added a solid 81 total yards.
Four touchdowns in three games are too much to ignore. Sound the Battle cry and add him in all formats.
Fantasy football free agents: Look to acquire
The following players will have greater significance in deep fantasy football leagues. In shallow fantasy football leagues, they are not as high of a priority but should be considered based on your fantasy football team's needs.
Leading up to Week 4, head coach Greg Schiano indicated he wanted to get Blount more involved in the offense. An early deficit put the ground game on ice, but Blount's six carries were only two less than Doug Martin and he scored Tampa Bay's lone rushing touchdown of the game. Blount hasn't done enough to warrant inserting in your lineup, yet - tucking him away on your bench may be another matter.
Sixteen carries for 137 yards and a touchdown surely put the undrafted rookie on people's radars after Week 4. Before you overreact, keep in mind that Danny Woodhead had 23 carries the previous two games and finished Sunday's rout over the Bills with zero. Stevan Ridley is the only reliable option in the Patriots' backfield. Adding anyone else is purely speculative.
Fantasy football free agents: Watch list
These fantasy football free agents shouldn't be on your immediate list. They may have had a big week. They may have talent but are buried on the depth chart and merely awaiting an opportunity. Still, fantasy football players must know who they are for their potential contribution in the future.
Hillman's final line for Week 4 (10 carries, 31 yards; two receptions, 32 yards) isn't anything to get excited about. His 12 touches are a good sign, however, and could portend an increased role down the road. Those playing in larger leagues might want to stash him on the pine sooner than later.
