- New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin said he is a bit concerned RB Ahmad Bradshaw (neck) could aggravate his neck injury in Week 4. "Well, I suppose it could flare up. In his case, he's been treated for a couple weeks so hopefully that's not going to happen. It can flare up," Coughlin said. "Hopefully once you get it under control, and you know a little bit about it, they don't put themselves in that type of position. Sometimes you can't help it, but it can be reoccurring."
- Updating a previous item, New York Giants WR Hakeem Nicks (foot, knee) is believed to be dealing with swelling in his left knee, although the team has not specified which knee is bothering him. The injury originated when he went down hard on an incomplete pass in the fourth quarter of Week 2. His ankle was stepped on in the process. Nicks hadn't been able to run to test the knee over the past two weeks; however, he tested it Thursday, Sept. 27, and the Giants determined it was an issue.
- New York Giants CB Corey Webster (hand) said he expects to be thrown at in Week 4 because his hand is in a cast. Webster is currently wearing a cumbersome cast at this point but is expected to change the cast before the game.
- New York Giants WR Hakeem Nicks (knee, foot) has been ruled out for Week 4 after originally being listed as doubtful for the game.
- New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin said Saturday, Sept. 29, that FS Antrel Rolle (knee) will play in the Week 4 game against the Philadelphia Eagles despite a questionable tag on the injury report.
- New York Giants CB Prince Amukamara (ankle) will make his first NFL start in Week 4 against the Philadelphia Eagles, and he is ready. "My mentality's always going to be the same - prepare as a starter and study as a starter," Amukamara said. He also said he is healthy, although he has felt some discomfort in his ankle.
