Two weeks ago I drafted Kevin Ogletree in a fantasy league. Wednesday afternoon I debated starting him over Anquan Boldin for at least 20 minutes. Wednesday night I kicked myself repeatedly.

Snatch him up

Everything lined up for Ogletree to have a big game:

• Dez Bryant and Miles Austin were coming off injuries.
• Jason Witten was iffy to play and didn't appear to be much of a factor if he did.
• The Giants' secondary was decimated by injuries. Ogletree had worked hard this offseason to improve his concentration (apparently Victor Cruz did not).
• Laurent Robinson was a fantasy beast in this role last year, seeing extensive single-coverage throughout the season.
• Tony Romo is an elite quarterback. Yup, I said it. Elite. You cannot spell "elite" without Eli, but you also can't spell "most underrated quarterback in the whole NFL" without Romo.

Ogletree's probably won't replicate his Week 1 performance again this year, although that shouldn't stop you from landing him on your waiver wire. Pick him up immediately and play the matchups. After all, what do you have to lose? Robinson and Cruz were awesome waiver wire acquisitions last year for those willing to take a chance on them. You just never know.

Oh, and listen to your gut when you're setting a fantasy football lineup. It tends to be right from time to time!
