Milwaukee Brewers manager Ron Roenicke said the role of RP John Axford might be up for review after another shaky outing and blown save cost the team a win Monday, July 16, against the St. Louis Cardinals. Axford allowed three earned runs, three hits and two walks while retiring just two batters, falling to 2-6 with his sixth blown save of the year. "I think he's got a lot going on upstairs," Roenicke said. "But he still seems to be the same guy. You talk to him before the game or before batting practice, he seems to be the same guy. So I don't know what all the issues are."

RP | Neftali Feliz | Texas Rangers | Injury, Fantasy,
Texas Rangers SP Neftali Feliz (elbow) allowed an unearned run, hit and two walks with four strikeouts Monday, July 16, in his first minor-league rehab start with Double-A Frisco. Feliz said he felt good and he was pleased with his velocity. Feliz's fastball was between 92-95 mph, and he hit 96 on the radar gun twice.

Arizona Diamondbacks RP Takashi Saito (calf, illness) was able to throw perfect innings in rehab appearances in Arizona League games Friday, July 13, and Sunday, July 15. He is scheduled to take off Monday, July 16, before making more appearances Tuesday, July 17, and Thursday, July 19. "We've just got to get him on a streak of good," manager Kirk Gibson said. "He threw more aggressive (Sunday), throwing more of his secondary pitches as well as his fastball." His velocity was clocked around 90-91 mph.

RP | Drew Storen | Washington Nationals | Injury, Fantasy,
Washington Nationals RP Drew Storen (elbow) is expected to make one more rehab outing before returning to the team for the first time this year. He gave up four runs in just two-thirds of an inning with Double-A Harrisburg Sunday, July 15, allowing three hits, a walk and a home run. Storen's velocity was fine, but he was leaving pitches up in the zone often. The team is not concerned with his strength.

RP | Mariano Rivera | New York Yankees | Injury, Fantasy,
New York Yankees RP Mariano Rivera (knee) said it's his "goal" to return this September. Rivera is vigorously going through his rehab program and is in good position to accomplish his goal. However, the team isn't expecting him to be back.

RP | Greg Holland | Kansas City Royals | Injury, Fantasy,
Kansas City Royals RP Greg Holland has a 1.75 ERA in 27 games since returning from the disabled list May 11, and he's fanned 36 hitters in 25 2/3 innings. He has three wins, eight holds and a blown save over that time. "I feel good right now," Holland said. "I feel like I'm consistent. I feel my fastball command for the last few weeks has been better than it was last year, but my off-speed (pitches) still need some work. I've still got some timing issues with that."

Holland's rib injury kept him from driving toward home plate during his follow-through, which kept him from getting balls down in the zone. His arm slot was inconsistent, too, making things worse.

New York Yankees RP Joba Chamberlain (ankle) is scheduled to make a rehab appearance Tuesday, July 17, but manager Joe Girardi said he is not sure if Chamberlain will pitch for the team's Gulf Coast League or for Single-A Tampa.

Miami Marlins RP Juan Oviedo (elbow) has a sprained ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow. There is no timetable for his return.

The Texas Rangers activated RP Alexi Ogando (groin) from the 15-day disabled list Monday, July 16.

RP | Jim Miller | Oakland Athletics | Transaction
Oakland Athletics RP Jim Miller has returned to the team after paternity leave. In a corresponding move, the team optioned P Pedro Figueroa to Triple-A Sacramento.
