San Diego Chargers head coach Norv Turner said QB Philip Rivers and TE Antonio Gates have had their best minicamp he has seen. "I told our guys, I don't have to, but if I listed 10 guys who have been outstanding," Turner said, "and probably have had their best camp that I'm aware of, (Antonio) Gates falls in that category. Ryan is in that category. Philip Rivers is in that category. He's still been here (at the team facility) more days probably more than any other guy on the team."

WR | Mike Williams | Tampa Bay Buccaneers | Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Williams typically lined up as a split end the first two seasons of his career, but wide receivers coach P.J. Fleck said the Bucs plan to use Williams in multiple roles this year. Fleck said Williams and the team's other receivers will be more diverse in the team's new offense, which could allow them all to move around as the Buccaneers try to take advantage of matchups. "A guy like Mike can play inside or outside - wherever we want him to," Fleck said.

Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter said he is not worried about TE Tony Gonzalez missing minicamp this week because he is a veteran player that will be able to pick up the scheme. "Tony is one of the greatest tight ends to ever play the game," Koetter said. "We are not re-inventing football out here. ... He's seen it all and done it all. We don't need to be worried about that. He'll be fine." Gonzalez attended a few of the offseason workouts but stayed in California for most of the offseason.


Defensive Line

Buffalo Bills C Eric Wood (knee) and CB Terrence McGee (knee) should be ready for the start of training camp but may be limited during early practices.

CB | Aaron Williams | Buffalo Bills | Injury
Buffalo Bills CB Aaron Williams (knee) was fully participated in minicamp this week and said the knee injury that held him out of organized team activities last week is fine.
