Quarterback

QB | Ryan Tannehill | Miami Dolphins | Fantasy
Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill was intercepted on his first pass under center in an 11-on-11 situation in practice Wednesday, June 20.

QB | Kevin Kolb | Arizona Cardinals | Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
Arizona Cardinals QBs Kevin Kolb and John Skelton are in an open competition for the team's starting job. They have been through it before, when each was a freshman in college battling for a starting job. "Everyone has handled it well so far," Kolb said. "The biggest thing is you just concentrate on doing your job."

QB | Colt McCoy | Cleveland Browns | Injury, Fantasy
It is highly unlikely that the Cleveland Browns will trade QB Colt McCoy before the starting of training camp. The club likely needs to wait until another team's quarterback suffers an injury, or a team finds it really needs a backup signal caller.

QB | Vince Young | Buffalo Bills | Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
Buffalo Bills QB Vince Young looks like the clear-cut favorite early on in the battle to serve as the team's primary backup to starter QB Ryan Fitzpatrick. Young is battling QB Tyler Thigpen for the job.

Running Back

RB | LeGarrette Blount | Tampa Bay Buccaneers | Fantasy
Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB LeGarrette Blount has a new way of carrying the football in hopes of reducing fumbles. Blount's new ballcarrying technique is most commonly described as "high-and-tight." The ball ends up buried between the forearm, the upper arm and the chest, carried a few degrees off of vertical so that it is against one of the numbers on the player's jersey. Former NFL RB Tiki Barber switched to the technique after a nine-fumble campaign in 2003 and had just nine over the next three seasons combined.

RB | Michael Turner | Atlanta Falcons | Fantasy
Atlanta Falcons RB Michael Turner has either led the NFL or ranked second in rushing attempts in three of his four seasons with the team; however, he is expected to lose carries in 2012 as the team plans to use a committee approach at the running back position.

RB | Reggie Bush | Miami Dolphins | Fantasy
Miami Dolphins RB Reggie Bush will likely return to more of a hybrid role in 2012, where he catches more passes out of the backfield and takes less punishment. "This offense is perfect for guys like me," said Bush, who averaged 14.4 carries last season but fewer than three receptions per game. "It gives us a chance to use our speed and kind of wear down the defense and have them chase us around all day. I think I will be pretty balanced. Hearing them talk, they want to run the ball just as much as they want to throw the ball."

RB | Adrian Peterson | Minnesota Vikings | Injury, Fantasy
Updating previous items, Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson (knee) said there is still much work to be done before he is 100 percent recovered from reconstructive surgery on his left knee. "I know my body overall, and I know I'm just not there yet," Peterson said. "It's not terrible, but I'm not to where I know I need to be."

RB | Jacquizz Rodgers | Atlanta Falcons | Fantasy
Atlanta Falcons head coach Mike Smith has said running the ball will remain a priority in offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter's system, but it will be on a more by-committee basis. That means RBs Michael Turner, Jacquizz Rodgers and Jason Snelling are all likely to figure in for carries.

RB | BenJarvus Green-Ellis | Cincinnati Bengals | Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Jay Gruden plans to employ a running-back-by-committee. RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis will be teamed with RBs Bernard Scott and Brian Leonard.

RB | Chris Johnson | Tennessee Titans | Fantasy
Tennessee Titans RB Chris Johnson was a practice Wednesday, June 20, after being excused from practice Tuesday, June 19.

Fullback

FB | Collin Mooney | Tennessee Titans | Injury, Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
Tennessee Titans FB Collin Mooney (hand) had a cast on his broken left hand Wednesday, June 20, in practice. He suffered the broken hand Friday, June 15, in practice during a blocking drill. Mooney is competing with FB Quinn Johnson for the starting fullback job.

Wide Receiver

WR | Percy Harvin | Minnesota Vikings | Fantasy
Minnesota Vikings WR Percy Harvin played in just 58 percent of the team's offensive snaps last season. The Vikings are committed to playing Harvin more in 2012. "Yes," offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave said. "Looking forward to it."

WR | Mike Sims-Walker | Free Agent | Injury, Free Agents, Fantasy
Free-agent WR Mike Sims-Walker (Jaguars) (knee) spent three days with the Houston Texans during their minicamp this week, and the club is still deciding whether or not to sign him.

WR | A.J. Jenkins | San Francisco 49ers | Transaction, Fantasy
Updating a previous report, the four-year deal for San Francisco 49ers WR A.J. Jenkins is worth $6.947 million, and it includes a $3.49 million signing bonus, a source said Wednesday, June 20. Under the new collective bargaining agreement, all first-round picks can have four-year contracts with a non-negotiable fifth-year option.

WR | Greg Childs | Minnesota Vikings | Injury, Fantasy
Minnesota Vikings WR Greg Childs (calf), who suffered a calf strain in rookie camp, has been able to practice in back-to-back practices for the first time this offseason. Head coach Leslie Frazier said Childs is "(still) a little behind from a conditioning standpoint because of the time he's missed and also catching up to what we're doing schematically. But you can see the physical talent in the fact that he's able to get in and out of cuts."

WR | Bryan Walters | Minnesota Vikings | Injury, Fantasy
Minnesota Vikings WR Bryan Walters (ankle) turned his left ankle during practice Wednesday, June 20.

WR | Stephen Burton | Minnesota Vikings | Injury, Fantasy
Minnesota Vikings WR Stephen Burton (pneumonia) missed practice Tuesday, June 19, as he deals with breathing issues after being diagnosed with pneumonia.

WR | Michael Jenkins | Minnesota Vikings | Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
Minnesota Vikings offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave and wide receivers coach George Stewart are working to get a plan in place for when WR Jerome Simpson serves his three-game suspension. WR Michael Jenkins is expected to be a big part of the plan. "Michael Jenkins started for us last year before he hurt a knee," Stewart said. "Veteran guy, able to stretch a defense. He made some plays for us last year."

WR | Jordan Shipley | Cincinnati Bengals | Injury, Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
Cincinnati Bengals WR Jordan Shipley (knee) is a candidate to start the season on the Physically-Unable-to-Perform (PUP) list. Shipley is also not a candidate for the No. 2 wide receiver job, but he is battling WRs Andrew Hawkins and Mohamed Sanu for the slot job.

WR | Plaxico Burress | Free Agent | Free Agents
The Carolina Panthers are not interested in signing free-agent WR Plaxico Burress (Jets).

WR | Kendall Wright | Tennessee Titans | Injury, Fantasy
Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (shoulder) is not participating in minicamp this week because of a shoulder injury but he is expected to be ready for the start of training camp.

WR | Michael Floyd | Arizona Cardinals | Fantasy
Arizona Cardinals WR Michael Floyd is expected to have an important role in the offense this season even if he is not in the starting lineup.

Tight End

TE | Daniel Graham | Free Agent | Free Agents
The Atlanta Falcons worked out free-agent TE Daniel Graham (Titans) Tuesday, June 19.

Place Kicker

PK | Josh Scobee | Jacksonville Jaguars | Free Agents, Fantasy
The Jacksonville Jaguars have not talked with franchise free-agent PK Josh Scobee about a long-term contract for months. General manager Gene Smith said he believes the team has made a good offer to Scobee and does not expect Scobee to miss any games because of his contract.

Offensive Tackle

OT | Geoffrey Schwartz | Minnesota Vikings | Injury, Depth Chart Tidbit
Minnesota Vikings OL Geoffrey Schwartz (hip) was sidelined for offseason workouts until Tuesday, June 19. He is being given a chance to win a starting job, perhaps challenging OL Brandon Fusco for the starting right guard job. "We haven't had Geoff Schwartz out there until (Tuesday)," offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave said. "He got a few snaps at the end of the period in two minute (at right guard)."

Guard

OG | Artis Hicks | Miami Dolphins | Depth Chart Tidbit
Miami Dolphins OG Artis Hicks was working as the starting right guard for the second straight week in workouts, leapfrogging OG John Jerry. "I've been through this before," Hicks said. "You want to come out and be perfect to prove yourself year after year. It's never perfect, and that's the hardest part...you want to not have any screw ups. But it's a work in progress."

OG | Kevin Zeitler | Cincinnati Bengals |
There are some members of the media who feel Cincinnati Bengals OG Kevin Zeitler, selected by the team at No. 27 overall in the 2012 NFL Draft, was the best offensive lineman in the draft. One member of the media said a couple of teams said Zeitler reminded them of Baltimore Ravens Pro Bowl OT Marshal Yanda.

Defensive Line

DL | Shaun Rogers | New York Giants | Injury
New York Giants DL Shaun Rogers (elbow) said he is unsure if he will be available for the start of training camp with an elbow injury.

DL | Marcus Stroud | Retired | Transaction, Free Agents
The Jacksonville Jaguars signed free-agent DT Marcus Stroud (Patriots) to a one-day contract so he could retire as a member of the organization.

Linebacker

LB | Tyrone McKenzie | Minnesota Vikings | Depth Chart Tidbit
Minnesota Vikings LB Tyrone McKenzie, a practice squad holdover, saw plenty of reps with the first-team defense during organized team activities (OTAs) and minicamp with LB Jasper Brinkley (groin, hip) sidelined. McKenzie talked with head coach Leslie Frazier plenty during the workouts. "It wasn't always positive conversations, I can tell you that," Frazier said. "But Tyrone works hard. He works hard and he's been practicing, he's trying to do the right things and for him, like a lot of our players, when we put the pads on we'll find out who they are."

Cornerback

CB | Jamell Fleming | Arizona Cardinals | Depth Chart Tidbit
Arizona Cardinals CB Jamell Fleming drew the praise of head coach Ken Whisenhunt earlier this week after another impressive workout. "It seems like every day he's made a play on a ball out there, knocking it down or making an interception," Whisenhunt said. Fleming is competing for a starting job opposite CB Patrick Peterson, although it is believed CBs William Gay and Greg Toler have the upper hand in the battle. CB A.J. Jefferson is also in the mix.

CB | Leon Hall | Cincinnati Bengals | Injury
Cincinnati Bengals CB Leon Hall (Achilles') has progressed well in rehab, and there is tremendous optimism that he will be on the field for the first snap of training camp.

Strong Safety

SS | Dashon Goldson | San Francisco 49ers | Free Agents
The San Francisco 49ers are continuing to work on a long-term contract with franchise free-agent SS Dashon Goldson. Goldson may be looking for a deal similar to the five-year, $35 million contract Tennessee Titans FS Michael Griffin signed this week which included $15 million in guaranteed money.

Free Safety

FS | Eric Frampton | Minnesota Vikings | Injury
Minnesota Vikings FS Eric Frampton (illness) was able to return to practice Wednesday, June 20, after battling an illness.
