The team sent SP Kris Medlen to Triple-A Gwinnett to stretch out and potentially serve as a starter, and many speculated that might be at the expense of Minor, who had been struggling. However, there is now word that Medlen might return, but not necessarily as a starter, which means Minor could have saved his job, at least for now.

Since he worked Tuesday, he would not be available to pitch again until Friday, June 15, at the earliest.
