The Houston Texans selected Ohio State wide receiver DeVier Posey with the 68th pick in the 2012 NFL Draft.
Fantasy analysis: Posey probably won't be an immediate contributor in this offense, at least in terms of significant fantasy production, because of its run-first nature. He is a raw prospect and has inconsistent hands. Posey missed most of the 2011 season because of his role in the Ohio State autograph scandal.
Posey can probably be ignored in single-year leagues, but his long-term value is intriguing given his size (6-foot-1 5/8, 211 pounds). He is a strong blocker, which will help keep him on the field, but that doesn't help fantasy owners if he is not catching passes.
