2012 NFL Draft - Pick 43: Stephen Hill, WR, New York Jets

The New York Jets selected Georgia Tech wide receiver Stephen Hill with the 43rd pick in the 2012 NFL Draft.

Stephen Hill, WR, New York Jets

Fantasy analysis: Hill is a burner with a deep-threat resume that would make Randy Moss blush. Last year, Hill snared only 28 passes but averaged 29.3 yards per reception. He has tremendous blocking ability and natural hands, despite dropping six passes in 2011.

Hill is risky and raw, with minor off-the-field concerns. He has a very limited route tree and needs a lot of coaching before he is anything more than a one-trick pony in the NFL.

Hill could post several fantasy-worthy games in 2012, but it will be maddening to forecast when they will come. His long-term value is sky high, but his single-year value is nil, at best.
