The Pittsburgh Steelers selected Stanford offensive guard David DeCastro with the 24th overall pick of the 2012 NFL Draft.
Fantasy analysis: The Steelers needed to improve their offensive line, and the fact that DeCastro even slid to them is amazing. The former Cardinal should be an immediate contributor along the line and is a great all-around blocker. He can get overwhelmed but stout defensive linemen at times, but technique and increased mass can offset this.
The Steelers' offense should find more running lanes and improved pass protection for Ben Roethlisberger.
