2012 NFL Draft - Pick 13: Michael Floyd, WR, Arizona Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals selected Notre Dame wide receiver Michael Floyd with the 13th overall pick of the 2012 NFL Draft.

Michael Floyd, WR, Arizona Cardinals

Fantasy analysis: This is a great selection for Larry Fitzgerald owners, as Floyd's size and athletic ability will help free up Fitz for more one-on-one coverage. While that make take some time, Floyd's skill set could make him an immediate contributor.

Just as it will help Fitzgerald, it will do even more for Floyd himself. He will see an abundant amount of single coverage and can destroy defenses with mismatch ability. His size and red zone prowess will make him a threat from Week 1 on.

Fantasy football leaguers should view Floyd as a fourth receiver with upside in single-year leagues, and his long-term value is sky high. The quarterback situation in the desert is in flux, but John Skelton or Kevin Kolb will be improved by having such a dynamic talent to work with.
