The Kansas City Chiefs selected Memphis nose tackle Dontari Poe with the 10th overall pick of the 2012 NFL Draft.
Fantasy analysis: Poe has plenty of size at 350 pounds to anchor the heart of KC's 3-4 defense. He won't be a big stat producer for fantasy purposes, as that isn't the nature of the position. He, will, however, shore up Kansas City's run defense and all the linebackers to roam freely. Poe's on-field play at Memphis wasn't in line with his workout numbers, so there is some concern for a bust factor here.
The Chiefs' defense is a great sleeper No. 2 unit and, under Romeo Crennel, could surprise as a midrange No. 1 by the season's end.
