Houston quarterback Case Keenum set numerous NCAA records, but that may not translate to a high placement in the 2012 NFL Draft. Coming from a spread offense that heavily emphasizes the passing game, Keenum threw for at least 5,000 yards in all three of his healthy seasons as a starter, and he tossed at least 44 touchdown passes in each of those years. Keenum's senior season was one for the ages, as he completed 71.0 percent of his throws for 5,631 yards and threw 48 touchdown strikes to just five interceptions.
Strengths
Weaknesses
Expected draft placementKeenum is a major project at the next level and may be lucky to be drafted at all. His size, lack of athleticism, inflated production and mechanical flaws will hold him back. Expect someone to take a shot on him in the seventh round, but do not be surprised if he is an undrafted free-agent signing. About Cory J. Bonini
