Greg Biffle's red hot start to the 2012 season continued at Bristol, as he grabbed the pole for Sunday's Food City 500. After missing the Chase in 2011, Biffle has opened this season with three straight third-place finishes, grabbing the top spot in the standings in the process. The only thing missing is a trip to Victory Lane, and considering Biffle has the best average finish of any driver without a win in Thunder Valley, he is more than overdue. He may not be able to keep up his torrid pace for an entire 36-race schedule, but as long as he is performing at an elite level, fantasy owners should feel free to jump on the Biffle bandwagon.

Biffle isn't the only driver that is long overdue for a win. A.J. Allmendinger is arguably the best driver in the Cup Series without a win, and although he has had some bad luck to start the year, he has shown plenty of promise with his new Penske Championship Racing team. Allmendinger qualified on the front row for Sunday's race, and after a strong showing in Saturday's practices, this could be the weekend that he breaks through and gets the monkey off his back.

Of course, Kyle Busch will probably have a lot to say about who ends up in Victory Lane. He is the defending winner of Sunday's race, and he has won four of the last six races at Bristol. Busch is off to a lackluster start by his standards, but there is no better place for the No. 18 team to get back on track than in Thunder Valley. He will roll off 13th when the green flag waves, but Busch should waste little time making his way to the front of the field.
