Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim 1B Mark Trumbo (ankle) is expected to be fully healthy by the end of February. He has been taking limited repetitions at third base this offseason, but he's not expected to be the club's everyday third baseman, at least not this year. 3B Alberto Callaspo and SS Maicer Izturis are other options at the hot corner.

Outfielder

OF | Bubba Starling | Kansas City Royals | Injury, Fantasy
Kansas City Royals OF Bubba Starling (quadriceps) took part in the team's minor-league minicamp in early January, and he appears 100 percent healthy heading into spring training. OF | Alfredo Amezaga | Chicago Cubs | Fantasy

He is a switch-hitter who can play three infield positions and all three outfield spots. The team went the entire 2011 without a backup to Castro, as they had to have Barney move over to shortstop when Castro missed five games.

The Chicago White Sox continue to pursue Cuban free-agents P Gerardo Concepcion and OF Yoenis Cespedes. Concepcion is expected to select a team soon.

"It was real cold that day in Pittsburgh, and I felt something in my arm," De La Rosa said. "I said it was a blister and they took me out of the game. I told them I would be OK. But I was not.
