Cincinnati Reds owner Bob Castellini has not ruled out the fact that the team will try to re-sign 1B Joey Votto when he becomes eligible for free agency after the 2013 season. Second Baseman
2B | Gordon Beckham | Chicago White Sox | Fantasy
The consensus for Chicago White Sox 2B Gordon Beckham's struggles last season was that he had developed a hitch in his swing. However, Beckham has been against that thought process. "Everybody wants to say I have a hitch in my swing," Beckham said. "It's the easiest thing in the world to say when I'm not hitting. There are a lot of other things going into it, but I'm not going to get into them. But the one thing I am doing is I'm getting loaded up, ready to go, prepared to hit the ball hard, as opposed to kind of feeling for it, which is what I was doing last year." He has been spending many hours in the cages this offseason to correct his mental approach heading into the 2012 season.

He's going to have reps everywhere in the outfield, as well as second, short and third. Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim OF Peter Bourjos (hip) said his hip injury has been an annual issue for him for a while. "It's been on and off," Bourjos said.
