"It took him every bit of about 20 minutes, and he completely changed what I was doing," Ibanez says. "I consistently produced line drives, over and over again. He simplified everything for me." Ibanez also worked with Jaramillo in 2002, 2008 and 2009 but did not work out with him before last season as he was recovering from surgery.

The Boston Red Sox, Washington Nationals, Cleveland Indians and Milwaukee Brewers are also interested in Oswalt's services. Oswalt has reportedly already turned down a strong offer from the Detroit Tigers. A deal with the Cardinals appears unlikely, and the two sides aren't even talking. If Texas lands Oswalt, they could try to trade SP Matt Harrison or even Ogando.
