Fantasy football sleepers: QB | RB | WR | TE | PK | DT

In this article KFFL breaks down the fantasy football sleepers of the week. We will avoid marquee names because players of that caliber are rarely benched, regardless of their matchup. Instead, we will focus on the players that make your fantasy lineup decisions stressful each week. Read on to learn which midrange to low-end players you wouldn't necessarily consider that you need to get into your lineup.

Note: All statistics are from Week 13 to Week 16, unless otherwise stated.

Fantasy football sleepers: Place kickers

Kansas City Chiefs PK Ryan Succop
Chiefly a sleeper PK

Ryan Succop, Kansas City Chiefs at Denver Broncos

Fantasy value: Low-end No. 1

  • We profiled Succop in this space last week, and he attempted four field goals for the second straight game. He connected on two of them, and has averaged 2.00 three-pointers per contest in the past four games. KC has scored only one touchdown in each of the last four games.
  • Denver has yielded 10.8 average fantasy points per game, which is tied for the most in the NFL. They have offered kickers 3.00 field goal attempts and 3.25 extra points per game. PKs have made all of their TD punctuations and 10 of their 12 total attempts from three-point land.

Robbie Gould, Chicago Bears at Minnesota Vikings

Fantasy value: No. 1 or bench

  • Gould has been non-existent since Jay Cutler (thumb) went down a little over a month ago, but Josh McCown's insertion as the starting quarterback helped the offense last week. Gould attempted three field goals, making two, and kicked his fourth extra point in the past month.
  • Minnesota has allowed the third most standard fantasy points per game to the position. Kickers have nailed 2.75 of their 3.00 per-game field goal tries and all of their 3.75 average extra points.
