Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: QB | RB | WR | TE | PK | DT

If you are serious about winning your fantasy league football championship, stay on top of your fantasy football team throughout the year.

Each week during the NFL fantasy football season, KFFL brings you its Fantasy Football Waiver Wire, which breaks down players to pick up. Be aggressive when picking up fantasy football free agents. Even if you do not need a player, you can tuck him away for depth or block others from adding him to their fantasy football team.

Fantasy football free agents: One-week plays

The following fantasy football pickups are for those who need injury or bye week replacements. They are not players you immediately acquire - unless your team is in dire straights. Some have, however, shown some life and should be followed in case they materialize as options beyond their temporary use.

Steven Hauschka, Seattle Seahawks (95 percent)

Alex Henery, PK, Philadelphia Eagles
Kicks coming for Henery

Hauschka has made all of his 3.50 extra point attempts and 1.50 of his 1.75 three-point efforts per game in the past month. Seattle travels to their divisional rivals, the Arizona Cardinals, in Week 17. These teams know each other very well and could be in for a slugfest between the 20s.

The Cards have allowed an average of 9.0 fantasy points per game in the past month, which stems from kickers going 6-for-6 on one-pointers and 2.50-for-3.75, on average, in the field goal department. They are yielding a lot of attempts from distance but have benefited from kickers' inaccuracies.

Alex Henery, Philadelphia Eagles (49 percent)

Philly's offense shouldn't have too much trouble moving the ball this weekend, and their rookie kicker may be the main beneficiary. Henery has averaged 3.25 PATs (making all) but just a lone field goal kick per game since Week 12.

The Washington Redskins have permitted 3.25 extra point tries (3.00 good) and 2.50 stalled drive kicks (1.75 made), on average, in the last four weeks. Familiarity and defensive mediocrity on both sides could cause this one to be a low-scoring, field goal-driven affair.
