Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: QB | RB | WR | TE | PK | DT

If you are serious about winning your fantasy league football championship, stay on top of your fantasy football team throughout the year.

Each week during the NFL fantasy football season, KFFL brings you its Fantasy Football Waiver Wire, which breaks down players to pick up. Be aggressive when picking up fantasy football free agents. Even if you do not need a player, you can tuck him away for depth or block others from adding him to their fantasy football team.

Fantasy football free agents: Priority additions

The following players should be high on your radar and are worthy of being added immediately to your fantasy football team.

Dallas Cowboys RB Felix Jones

Felix Jones, Dallas Cowboys (25 percent)

While he is available in a mere quarter of leagues polled, Jones assuming the full-time starting job in Dallas makes him a must-own in all formats. Check your league's waiver wire in case someone dropped him.

DeMarco Murray (ankle) suffered a fracture and a high ankle sprain, injuries that will sideline him for the remainder of the season. With Philip Tanner (hamstring) on Injured Reserve, the Cowboys will either sign another running back or promote Chauncey Washington or someone else from the practice squad this week merely to add insurance. Dallas might give ... whoever the backup is some complementary carries to keep Jones fresh, but it most likely won't be enough to make the RB2 relevant in your league.

Jones ran for 106 yards on 16 carries and caught six balls for 31 yards in Week 14.

Fantasy football free agents: Look to acquire

The following players will have greater significance in deep fantasy football leagues. In shallow fantasy football leagues, they are not as high of a priority but should be considered based on your fantasy football team's needs.

Chris Ivory, New Orleans Saints (97 percent)

With Mark Ingram (toe) inactive in Week 14, Ivory took over the bruiser role to complement the more versatile jobs of Darren Sproles and Pierre Thomas, gaining 53 yards on 13 carries. In Week 9, Ivory subbed for an inactive Ingram with 67 on 15. Ingram's injury could keep him out at least another week, meaning Ivory could keep his new role. Those in the fantasy playoffs who are desperate for any new carrier shouldn't ignore the 6-foot, 222-pounder with potential for goal line touches.
