Fantasy football sleepers: QB | RB | WR | TE | PK | DT

In this article KFFL breaks down the fantasy football sleepers of the week. We will avoid marquee names because players of that caliber are rarely benched, regardless of their matchup. Instead, we will focus on the players that make your fantasy lineup decisions stressful each week. Read on to learn which midrange to low-end players you wouldn't necessarily consider that you need to get into your lineup.

Note: All statistics are from Week 10 to Week 13, unless otherwise stated.

Fantasy football sleepers: Tight ends

Baltimore Ravens TE Ed Dickson
Dickson vs. IND: Yes, please!

Dustin Keller, New York Jets vs. Kansas City Chiefs

Fantasy value: Low-end No. 1

  • Over the last month, Keller has just 10 catches and 99 yards outside of his 4-61-2 Week 12. However, in the last three weeks, he has 22 targets, including two contests with eight.
  • The matchup with KC favors the Jets' passing game; the Chiefs have allowed 0.75 touchdowns, along with 3.0 catches and 50.5 yards (16.8 average), per game to the position. Most of the damage came from Rob Gronkowski, but Keller can sometimes create similar mismatches, especially in the red zone. The Chiefs' safeties are vulnerable, and their cornerbacks, who've been top-notch of late, will probably be focused on Santonio Holmes and Plaxico Burress.

Ed Dickson, Baltimore Ravens vs. Indianapolis Colts

Fantasy value: Flex or bench

  • Dickson is worth a waiver wire grab, especially if you lost Fred Davis to suspension. He has been erratically involved, especially with Dennis Pitta eating looks as well, but Dickson can manipulate the right matchup, especially with such shaky pass coverage as Indy possesses.

  • In fact, the Colts have allowed 6.67 receptions, 57.3 yards and 0.67 touchdowns per game to this position. That's good for the second most standard-scoring points yielded in that time.
