Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: TE - Week 13
If you are serious about winning your fantasy league football championship, stay on top of your fantasy football team throughout the year.
Each week during the NFL fantasy football season, KFFL brings you its Fantasy Football Waiver Wire, which breaks down players to pick up. Be aggressive when picking up fantasy football free agents. Even if you do not need a player, you can tuck him away for depth or block others from adding him to their fantasy football team.

Fantasy football free agents: Priority additions
The following players should be high on your radar and are worthy of being added immediately to your fantasy football team.
Lewis has been targeted 23 times in the last two weeks and has re-established himself as the top dog in the Jags' passing game. The offense still runs through Maurice Jones-Drew, and defenses will continue to key in on Lewis if no receivers step up. It isn't all that bad, though, as the sheer volume of looks Lewis has garnered of late make him a viable fantasy play.
Blaine Gabbert was benched late in the fourth quarter in favor of Luke McCown, but we do not expect that change to last this season. Gabbert is the future, and Jacksonville's playoff hopes are slim to none at this point.
Lewis has failed to find the end zone this year after a 10-touchdown explosion in 2010. His chances greatly improve if the Jags continue to look his way double-digit times per game.
Jacksonville faces the San Diego Chargers in Week 13, followed by one of the easiest schedules against the tight end position in the fantasy playoff weeks. The Jags host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Week 14) and then travel to the Atlanta Falcons before visiting the Tennessee Titans in Week 16.
Fantasy football free agents: One-week plays
The following fantasy football pickups are for those who need injury or bye week replacements. They are not players you immediately acquire - unless your team is in dire straights. Some have, however, shown some life and should be followed in case they materialize as options beyond their temporary use.
Cook's eight catches and 89 yards over his past two games don't do justice to his 16 targets in that time. In three of his last four games, in fact, he has registered at least seven looks. The Buffalo Bills, Tennessee's Week 13 opponents, have yielded 3.5 catches, 42.5 yards 0.50 touchdowns per game to this position since Week 8. Their secondary has been abused all season.
The Bills' O had been scuffling for the last few weeks. With Fred Jackson (leg) and Donald Jones (ankle) on Injured Reserve, the passing game stepped up in Week 12, surprisingly, against a tough New York Jets secondary. One week after a six-look, five-catch, 71-yard Week 11, the formerly touchdown-dependent Chandler (seven targets, six catches, 50 yards) was part of the resurrection. He should continue to be involved, especially in the red zone.
His Week 13 matchup with the Tennessee Titans should be fruitful: They've let tight ends average 5.25 catches, 64.3 yards and 0.50 touchdown snares per game over the last month. That's enough for a deep flex play.
