Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: QB | RB | WR | TE | PK | DT
If you are serious about winning your fantasy league football championship, stay on top of your fantasy football team throughout the year. Each week during the NFL fantasy football season, KFFL brings you its Fantasy Football Waiver Wire, which breaks down players to pick up. Be aggressive when picking up fantasy football free agents. Even if you do not need a player, you can tuck him away for depth or block others from adding him to their fantasy football team. Note: Percentage of polled leagues in which player is available in parentheses Fantasy football free agents: One-week plays
The following fantasy football pickups are for those who need injury or bye week replacements. They are not players you immediately acquire - unless your team is in dire straights. Some have, however, shown some life and should be followed in case they materialize as options beyond their temporary use. Lawrence Tynes, New York Giants (86 percent) Frequency of kicks? Not his strength: Tynes is just 6-for-8 on the year with 20 extra points. His long? 30 yards. So why add him? The Giants face the New England Patriots in Week 9; the Pats have allowed 2.33 FGAs and 2.00 touchdown toppers per contest over their last three. The Giants should be able to move the ball through the air, which should set Tynes up more frequently than he's used to. Josh Brown, St. Louis Rams (75 percent) The Arizona Cardinals have yielded 3.00 three-point tries and 3.33 extra-point attempts per contest over their last three. Their pass defense has been dreadful, which has allowed teams ample chances to line up their boots for contributions. Brown's Rams didn't have much success moving the ball before their unexpected explosion versus the New Orleans Saints in Week 8; he has tried just 10 field goals on the year, but he has missed only two. This is a far less formidable opponent on the docket that should allow ample kicking points. Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: QB | RB | WR | TE | PK | DTAbout Tim Heaney
