Updating a previous report, Arizona Cardinals RB Beanie Wells (knee) was limited in practice Friday, Oct. 28, for a second straight day, but he was able to do more than he did Thursday, Oct. 27. He will test his sore knee before the game Sunday, Oct. 30. If he is able to play, he is unlikely to carry the full load.
Arizona Cardinals LB Joey Porter (knee) has a chronic knee problem which is causing him to miss practice time. He is expected to be a game-time decision for Week 8 against the Baltimore Ravens, and is officially listed as questionable. LBs Sam Acho and O'Brien Schofield are likely to get playing time in his absence if Porter is inactive.
Arizona Cardinals TE Todd Heap (hamstring) will test his hamstring injury in the morning Sunday, Oct. 30, before the Week 8 game against the Baltimore Ravens, his former team. The NFL is looking into the events surrounding a concussion suffered by San Diego Chargers OG Kris Dielman (concussion) in Week 7. NFL vice president Bryan McCarthy said the league is reviewing the injury with the team, medical staff and NFL Players' Association. Dielman was concussed late in the game, after which he struggled to maintain balance. He finished the game despite the head injury and was not assessed until after the loss. The Chargers announced the injury shortly before the team boarded a plane for San Diego. Dielman suffered a grand mal seizure near the end of the team's charter flight, although he was cleared of all long-term complications surrounding the concussion and seizure. Dielman has not taken the NFL's official concussion test and has not been cleared to play.

Williams has bone spurs in his left foot and a source said that a physician outside the Bills organization indicated to Williams that the injury doesn't appear to be significant enough to end his season.
