Fantasy football sleepers: QB | RB | WR | TE | PK | DT

In this article KFFL breaks down the fantasy football sleepers of the week. We will avoid marquee names because players of that caliber are rarely benched, regardless of their matchup. Instead, we will focus on the players that make your fantasy lineup decisions stressful each week. Read on to learn which midrange to low-end players you wouldn't necessarily consider that you need to get into your lineup.

Note: All statistics are from Week 3 to Week 6, unless otherwise stated.

Fantasy football sleepers: Wide receivers

NEW - Damian Williams, Tennessee Titans vs. Houston Texans

Fantasy value: Midrange No. 3

• In the game before Tennessee's Week 6 bye, Williams was targeted 11 times, part of which resulted from the Titans' comeback mode. Although his route running has been sloppy, he probably spent the bye week working on it. Tennessee didn't acquire another pass catcher because they're confident in Williams' ability to fill in for Kenny Britt (knee).
• Not a bad week to continue momentum: Houston's pass rush lost Mario Williams (pectoral) for the season, and their secondary, which was already scuffling, should continue to falter. They've allowed 13.0 receptions, 190.8 receiving yards and one touchdown per game to this position. 

Davone Bess, Miami Dolphins vs. Denver Broncos

Fantasy value: Flex or bench

• Bess has averaged 5.67 targets, 3.33 receptions and 31.3 yards per contest in his last three games. He has failed to find the end zone in this time. He was looked to only three times by Matt Moore in Week 6.
• Thankfully, the Dolphins host the Broncos in Week 7. Denver has allowed the second most fantasy points (31.3) per game in standard scoring to the position. They have given up 14.00 receptions, 210.0 yards and 2.00 touchdowns per tilt to the position.
• Bess is available in 64 percent of leagues polled.

Johnny Knox, Chicago Bears at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Fantasy value: Flex or bench

• The big-play wideout has hauled in 2.75 receptions on 4.75 targets per game. This has led to 47.5 yards and no scores per game. He is averaging 17.3 per grab.
• Tampa Bay has permitted, on average, 11.50 receptions, 205.3 yards and 0.75 touchdowns per game. Their 17.8 yards-per-reception average is the most in the league and puts Knox in line for success given his style of play.
• The better Chicago's offensive line protects Jay Cutler, the better Knox's chances of success are since his typical routes generally take longer to develop. Cutler has been taking more five-step drops lately, which helps this process.

Titus Young, Detroit Lions vs. Atlanta Falcons

Fantasy value: Flex or bench

• The rookie has averaged 2.50 receptions on 5.50 targets per game. Young has averaged 12.0 yards per reception, resulting in 30.0 yards per contest. Young previously had played only on the outside until the loss of Tony Scheffler (concussion), which limited his snaps. Offensive coordinator Scott Linehan said he plans to move Young around more often.
• The Falcons have given up 11.25 receptions, 166.0 yards and 1.25 touchdowns per game to the wide receiver position. They have allowed the 12th most average fantasy points (22.5) per game.
• The reliable Young has made dramatic strides in five games and is one of only 11 players in the NFL with at least 14 receptions to have not dropped a pass this year. Detroit may need all hands on deck for this matchup, so expect to see a lot of three-wide sets, especially with Jahvid Best (concussion) banged up.
