Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: RB - Week 2

If you are serious about winning your fantasy league football championship, stay on top of your fantasy football team throughout the year.

Each week during the NFL fantasy football season, KFFL brings you its Fantasy Football Waiver Wire, which breaks down players to pick up. Be aggressive when picking up fantasy football free agents. Even if you do not need a player, you can tuck him away for depth or block others from adding him to their fantasy football team.

Fantasy football free agents: Priority additions

The following players should be high on your radar and are worthy of being added immediately to your fantasy football team.

Cadillac Williams, St. Louis Rams (64 percent)

Steven Jackson suffered a quadriceps injury in week 1; the severity is unknown. He is no stranger to missing time, and Williams played well in his absence. He rushed 19 times for 91 yards and added five receptions for 49 yards on the day.

The loss of Danny Amendola (elbow) for an estimated eight to 12 weeks will have a large impact on Williams even if Jackson doesn't miss time. The short-range passes usually go Amendola's direction, and Williams' pass-receiving skills have improved greatly in the last few years.

Fantasy football free agents: Look to acquire

The following players will have greater significance in deep fantasy football leagues. In shallow fantasy football leagues, they are not as high of a priority but should be considered based on your fantasy football team's needs.

Deji Karim, Jacksonville Jaguars (67 percent)

The Jags were playing with a lead in Week 1, which is partly why Karim was involved so much (17 utilizations). He wasn't very good on the ground with 14 carries for just 33 yards, but you have to acknowledge the opportunities were there. He chipped in three receptions for 39 yards. He is a must-own for Maurice Jones-Drew owners and should be on the radar of all fantasy footballers examining their Week 2 waiver wire.

NEW - Earnest Graham, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (90 percent)

LeGarrette Blount was pasted to the pine for nearly all of Week 1 as the Bucs employed more aerial plays during their comeback attempt, which kept Graham, the better pass blocker, on the field often. The coaches claimed it was because of Graham's experience in the two-minute offense. Graham has flashed goal line ability throughout his career, too.

Potential committee situation? The Bucs probably will see an overall downturn this year, meaning Josh Freeman will have to air it out more often. That bodes well for Graham, who sees increased value in PPR universes. This week TB gets the passer-friendly Minnesota Vikings, who allowed ample catches and receiving yards underneath to San Diego Chargers backs in Week 1.
