Alex Henery, Philadelphia Eagles at St. Louis Rams

Fantasy value: High-end No. 1

• The rookie kicker will have nice weather inside the dome to work with. Given how out of sync Philly's offense looked in the preseason, it wouldn't be a shock to see them settle for a lot of three-point tries against this upstart Rams' D.
• The Eagles attempted the fifth most field goals (38) and tied for the fourth most extra point kicks (47) in the league last year.
• The Rams surrendered an average of 1.5 extra point attempts and 2.1 field goal tries in 2010. Henery should see ample opportunities in his first NFL game, and the pressure may actually be less on the road than it would be in Philadelphia!

Neil Rackers, Houston Texans vs. Indianapolis Colts

Fantasy value: Midrange No. 1

• Houston provided Rackers 43 point-afters and an average 30 field goal attempts last year. He responded nicely, knocking through 90.0 percent of his three-point kicks (27) and all of his singles.
• The Colts allowed 28 field goal attempts and 51 extra point efforts in 2010. That breaks down to 1.8 and 3.2 per game, respectively.
• Without Peyton Manning (neck) on the field and possibly no Arian Foster (hamstring), Houston may not feel as compelled to run the ball as much as they have in the past. Expect a more balanced attack (as long as Robert Mathis and Dwight Freeney are not tearing up Matt Schaub), especially if Foster is limited or absent. The Colts' D is just good enough to keep Houston's offense in check.
