Meanwhile, in his last nine contests, Francisco has yielded just one run and six hits in 9 1/3 innings while striking out eight. It looks like Francisco is back in form - for now - and it's a matter of time before John Farrell goes back to him; follow suit if he's available.
His fastball predictability has been an issue, but Feliz recorded a first-pitch strike against two of the three batters he faced - a much better percentage than he has displayed all season. Sure, it's one game, but improved aggressiveness can help him remain successful. Feliz must continue this approach to keep the newly acquired duo at bay.
