Fantasy NASCAR RacingFantasy NASCAR rankings: Coke Zero 400
The last time the Cup Series visited a restrictor-plate track, Hendrick Motorsports dominated from start to finish. All four HMS drivers qualified in the top four, and all four drivers finished in the top eight. The organization is off to a similar start this weekend, with all four drivers starting in the top eight spots and Mark Martin on the pole. While HMS will be looking for its second restrictor-plate track victory, rookie Trevor Bayne will be trying to complete a season sweep at Daytona. After his shocking upset in the Daytona 500, Bayne is doing his best to prove that his victory was no fluke. He is starting on the outside of the front row, and he has already earned the respect of his competitors after his performance in the opener. Clint Bowyer should be a factor as well Saturday night. He has been in position to win the last three races at Daytona but has seen late wrecks ruin his chances. Bowyer also came up a bumper short of winning at Talladega in April. He has been so close so many times, and it is only a matter of time before Bowyer cashes in. Whoever comes out on top, it is sure to be an exciting night under the lights at one of NASCAR’s most prestigious tracks. More Articles You Will Like
