The Los Angeles Angels signed first-round pick 1B C.J. Cron (shoulder) to a deal with a signing bonus in the $1.7 million range. He'll likely have to wait until next season to start his career, though, due to a tear in his right shoulder that will likely require surgery. It would keep him out six months.

1B | Adrian Gonzalez | Boston Red Sox | Fantasy
Boston Red Sox manager Terry Francona is leaning toward playing 1B Adrian Gonzalez in right field on the team's upcoming nine-game road trip to National League parks in interleague play, which would allow DH David Ortiz to play first base.
