The Tennessee Titans could be a potential landing spot for Seattle Seahawks impending free-agent QB Matt Hasselbeck. There are many Seahawks ties currently in the Titans' front office, which could attract Hasselbeck. General manager Mike Reinfeldt, vice president of player personnel Ruston Webster and director of pro scouting Lake Dawson all spent time in Seattle, where Hasselbeck has played the past 10 years. New offensive coordinator Chris Palmer said that his relationship with Hasselbeck goes back more than two decades. Hasselbeck could not only be a starter but also a mentor to QB Jake Locker.


Running Back

Arizona Cardinals RB Beanie Wells said he during a radio interview that he understands that he needs to play well this season because it could be his last chance with the team. "This is definitely going to be my year without a doubt," Wells said. "This is my third year and three strikes and you're out, and I'm definitely not striking out. I am ready to tear it up. It's my time and I am ready to go out and prove that."


Wide Receiver

New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan is taking a wait-and-see approach with regards to the possibility of signing free-agent WR Plaxico Burress (Giants). "What (general manager Mike Tannenbaum) and I have always talked about is how we want to sign ... as many of our own players as we can," Ryan said. "We'll address (free-agency) once we have a better idea of what the rules are." Without directly addressing Burress, Ryan said that he is "excited that players throughout the league seem to have an interest in the Jets."

Seattle Seahawks impending free-agent DL Raheem Brock was arrested in Philadelphia early Friday, June 17, after he allegedly walked out on a bill at a club. Brock allegedly dipped out on a $27 bill. He was questioned by police and was arrested following a minor struggle.

LB | Kaluka Maiava | Cleveland Browns | Injury
Cleveland Browns LB Kaluka Maiava (knee) said he is about 90 percent healed from the torn anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus in his knee that he suffered during the 2010 season. He said he would be able to play if he needed to next week.

SS | Gerald Sensabaugh | Dallas Cowboys | Free Agents
The Dallas Cowboys are open to re-signing impending free-agent SS Gerald Sensabaugh but only at a price they are comfortable with during free agency.
