QB | Vince Young | Tennessee Titans | Draft
The Minnesota Vikings have not had internal discussions about acquiring Tennessee Titans QB Vince Young, according to a league source. The Vikings drafted Florida State QB Christian Ponder with the No. 12 overall pick in the NFL Draft and is expected to add a veteran once the lockout is lifted. However, Young, at this time, does not appear to be under consideration.

Running Back

RB | Charles Scott | New York Giants | Injury
New York Giants RB Charles Scott (undisclosed) was involved in a car accident in Louisiana earlier this week but did not suffer any career threatening injuries and should be fine. Scott did spend some time in a hospital's ICU but has been taken out of the unit. Scott's agent said Scott suffered cuts and bruises.

RB | Ronnie Brown | Miami Dolphins | Free Agents
Miami Dolphins impending free-agent RB Ronnie Brown wants to return to the team, even though the Dolphins selected RB Daniel Thomas in the NFL Draft.

Wide Receiver

WR | Marques Colston | New Orleans Saints | Injury, Fantasy
New Orleans Saints WR Marques Colston (knee) is training at full speed and feels he can be even stronger in 2011 than he was at any point last season. Colston had microfracture surgery to repair cartilage around his right kneecap, similar to the procedure he had on his left knee in 2009. "I'm doing everything now. It's just about getting my conditioning back," Colston said.

WR | Robert Meachem | New Orleans Saints | Injury
New Orleans Saints WR Robert Meachem (ankle) is training at full speed and he feels he can be even stronger in 2011 than he was at any point last season. Meachem had surgery following last season.

WR | Randy Moss | Free Agent | Free Agents
The New England Patriots are not expected to show interest in Tennessee Titans impending free-agent WR Randy Moss. Moss' main concern at this point in his career isn't playing football, it's making money, which would not sit well with head coach Bill Belichick. Moss would simply be too dangerous to employ.

WR | Steve Smith | Carolina Panthers | Fantasy
Updating previous reports, Carolina Panthers WR Steve Smith does not want to play for the team next season and hopes to be traded.

Defensive Line

DL | Aaron Smith | Pittsburgh Steelers | Injury
The prognosis for Pittsburgh Steelers DE Aaron Smith's (triceps) recovery from a torn triceps tendon is still a little murky. Although there have been no setbacks, Smith is not fully recovered, and it is still unclear at this point if he will be 100 percent recovered in time for training camp.

LB | Stephen Nicholas | Atlanta Falcons | Free Agents
Atlanta Falcons impending free-agent LB Stephen Nicholas said he would prefer to sign a long-term deal instead of accepting a one-year tender offer if he is considered a restricted free agent once the lockout is over.

CB | Ike Taylor | Pittsburgh Steelers | Free Agents
Pittsburgh Steelers impending free-agent CB Ike Taylor wants to sign a long-term deal with the team. The Steelers, as well, would like to keep Taylor in the fold. "I'm pretty sure we're on the same page," Taylor said. "We've just got to wait for this lockout (to end). The ball's in their court."

Strong Safety

SS | Troy Polamalu | Pittsburgh Steelers | Injury
Pittsburgh Steelers SS Troy Polamalu (Achilles') is healing sufficiently from his Achilles' injury that he would be ready for training camp.

SS | Dawan Landry | Baltimore Ravens | Free Agents
The Dallas Cowboys could have interest in Baltimore Ravens impending free-agent SS Dawan Landry, depending on his status as a free agent. Landry is currently a restricted free agent, but would become an unrestricted free agent if the rules prior to 2010 were reinstated.
