QB | Kevin Kolb | Philadelphia Eagles | Free Agents
The Arizona Cardinals are likely to call the Philadelphia Eagles as soon as they are allowed regarding the availability of QB Kevin Kolb. The Cardinals can't afford for this to be a long process. They will want a quick resolution, because if they can't get Kolb, they will want to pursue Baltimore Ravens impending free-agent QB Marc Bulger, Denver Broncos QB Kyle Orton or Seattle Seahawks impending free-agent QB Matt Hasselbeck before they are off the market.

QB | Charlie Frye | Free Agent | Free Agents
The Oakland Raiders may be interested in re-signing impending free-agent QB Charlie Frye to be their No. 3 quarterback.

Running Back

RB | Cedric Benson | Cincinnati Bengals | Free Agents
Cincinnati Bengals impending free-agent RB Cedric Benson said during a radio appearance that he deserves to receive a big contract in free agency. "I think I'm deserving of that; I just hope a couple teams feel the same way," Benson said. "It would be nice if it would be the Bengals, they drafted a quarterback in the second round and have young receivers, they're going to need a horse in there."

RB | Ben Tate | Houston Texans | Injury, Fantasy
Houston Texans RB Ben Tate (ankle) was medically cleared in February, meaning he'll be ready for full contact whenever football resumes. "We're going to give him the ball a few times and see how he does," offensive coordinator Rick Dennison said. "We're looking at it as he ended up with a redshirt year. He still has the ability that we liked to get him in the second round."

RB | Stevan Ridley | New England Patriots | Fantasy
New England Patriots RB Stevan Ridley is ready to contribute, even though he wasn't even the first running back drafted by the team. "For (the Patriots) to pick me up a few picks after RB Shane Vereen caught me by surprise. But the draft is a chess game," Ridley said. "I can't be more excited, regardless of whether I was picked before or after (Vereen)." He is working out at LSU until the lockout ends with fellow former Tigers who are active players.

RB | Knowshon Moreno | Denver Broncos | Fantasy
Denver Broncos executive vice president of player personnel John Elway said the team is hoping for a breakout season from RB Knowshon Moreno in 2011.

WR | Chad Ochocinco | Cincinnati Bengals | Fantasy
Cincinnati Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis did not want to discuss WR Chad Ochocinco Wednesday, May 11. "That's not a question I'm going to answer at any point," Lewis said. "He's under contract. We're not in a position to do anything else and that's where it stands."

WR | Julio Jones | Atlanta Falcons | Injury, Fantasy
Updating a previous report, Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (foot) has attended the players' workout but has not been able to run because of his foot injury.

Tight End

TE | Jermichael Finley | Green Bay Packers | Injury, Fantasy

Offensive Line

OL | Ben Grubbs | Baltimore Ravens | Injury
Baltimore Ravens OG Ben Grubbs (ankle) recently underwent surgery to remove bone spurs in his ankle.

Defensive Line

DL | Connor Barwin | Houston Texans | Injury, Fantasy
Houston Texans LB Connor Barwin (ankle) is expected to compete for playing time at strongside linebacker with rookie DL/LB Brooks Reed in defensive coordinator Wade Phillips' new 3-4 defensive scheme. "Connor Barwin certainly has a lot of potential," Phillips said. "Missing a year has hurt him, but he's going ability to rush the passer, and that's what we like."

DL | Aubrayo Franklin | San Francisco 49ers | Free Agents
The San Francisco 49ers will try to sign impending free-agent DT Aubrayo Franklin to a long-term deal this offseason but are considering moving DE Isaac Sopoaga to nose tackle if they are not able to reach an agreement with Franklin.

LB | Takeo Spikes | San Francisco 49ers | Free Agents
San Francisco 49ers impending free-agent LB Takeo Spikes would have to compete for a starting inside linebacker job with LB Navorro Bowman if he re-signs with the team.

CB | Chris Carr | Baltimore Ravens | Free Agents
Baltimore Ravens impending free-agent CB Chris Carr may be a likely target for the Detroit Lions. The team has pursued him before, and at 28 years of age, Carr still has several serviceable years left.

CB | Chris Houston | Detroit Lions | Free Agents
Detroit Lions general manager Martin Mayhew has repeatedly expressed his desire to retain impending free-agent CB Chris Houston. However, Houston wants to test free agency, and Detroit isn't guaranteed he'll return. If the team can't land a top talent to replace him, Houston's contract is Detroit's top offseason priority.
