What are the odds that you still own the relief pitchers you rostered in your fantasy baseball draft? KFFL.com's Fantasy Baseball Closer Hot Seat series gives you no-nonsense ratings of performances, injuries and managerial decisions in MLB bullpens. Get your arm loose: Let's find fantasy baseball players in your rotisserie or head-to-head baseball league who'll get saves.

Mound meetings

  • Looks like the Toronto Blue Jays have flip-flopped their closing priorities. John Farrell acknowledged Frank Francisco will get the majority of chances, with Jon Rauch being the secondary Jay. Both are worth ownership, but Francisco, who recorded a one-out save Friday, is the main man now.

  • In his first attempt since Jonathan Broxton (elbow) landed on the DL, Vicente Padilla worked around a single and a run-scoring triple to shut the door Sunday. Though he won't pitch on back-to-back days, he's the No. 1 option in the non-Broxton setup. Don Mattingly acknowledged that with a solid performance in the interim, Padilla could remain as closer even after Broxton returns, which might not be for at least another six weeks.

  • Sunday marked another chaotic meeting of the St. Louis Cardinals' committee. Eduardo Sanchez started the ninth inning but gave up two free passes and a single to let an inherited runner score. Fernando Salas then came on and retired the only batter he faced to wrap it up.
The fact that Sanchez was the first choice to wrap it up leaves this situation as status quo. Owning Sanchez, Salas or Mitchell Boggs (it has been awhile) should give you a piece of this saves picture/guessing game that doesn't have a clear-cut solution.
