University of Alabama RB Mark Ingram is widely viewed as the No. 1 running back option in this year's NFL Draft, reports Tom Pedulla, of USA Today. Ingram said his knee feels strong and healthy. "I've had time to rest it and time to get it stronger," he added. Ingram plans to stick at 215 pounds, which is where he feels most comfortable. "I feel more explosive. I feel better about how I move. When I got over 220, I think I was a little too heavy," Ingram said. He has been training with Wyatt Harris, his personal trainer, in New Orleans. Harris emphasized Ingram's desire to be an every-down back in the NFL. "That's what he's training to do. He understands he has to be in unbelievable shape to do the things he wants to do," Harris said. "They're going to get into a fight with him if they try to take him off the field."
