Dallas Cowboys TE Martellus Bennett said he hopes QB Jon Kitna receives a chance to compete with QB Tony Romo for the starting job next year, according to ESPNDallas.com's Tim MacMahon. "I loved playing with Kitna," Bennett said. "Kitna is one of my favorite people to play with. Just being out there on the field with that guy just makes you play even harder. He made some things happen in limited time, so I think if he got a longer chance, he'd be able to do more." The team's coaches have no plans to have a quarterback competition.

QB | Joe Flacco | Baltimore Ravens | Fantasy
Updating a previous report, Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco continues to show interest in receiving a contract extension as soon as possible, according to ESPN.com. "I would feel that after three years, you can make a decision on whether you want me to be your future quarterback or whether you don't. It's your decision," Flacco said. "I wish and hope they would do what they want me to do, which is stay here. Obviously, I want to stay here no matter what. I would want them to do something as early as possible." However, he has indicated that he doesn't want to "create any trouble" with the situation.

Grant said he would be ready for training camp, and that he can't wait to hit the field again. Grant was lost for the season in Week 1 of the 2010 season due to a torn ligament in his ankle that require surgery.

New York Giants RB Ahmad Bradshaw (ankle) said Tuesday, April 5, that he can "fly" on his surgically repaired ankle, reports Zach Berman, of The Star-Ledger. Bradshaw had surgery on his left ankle Feb. 12.
