Fantasy NASCAR RacingFantasy NASCAR rankings: Samsung Mobile 500
An all Roush Fenway Racing front row will lead the field to the green in Saturday's Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway. In fact, all four RFR drivers will roll off inside the top 10. Success at the 1.5-mile track is nothing new for the organization. Matt Kenseth and Greg Biffle are both former winners, and Carl Edwards has three victories. Texas has been one of the few bright spots for David Ragan, as well, and he just happens to be this weekend's pole-sitter. While fantasy owners will definitely want to consider loading up on the "Roushcateers," a top-10 starting spot is by no means a necessity for winning at Texas. Ask Denny Hamlin. He swept both races at the track last season despite starting 29th and 30th. Texas has enough racing grooves and a wide enough surface to allow fast cars to get to the front. Whether or not he can pull off the three-peat this weekend remains to be seen, but he will have to come from the 23rd starting spot to do so. Former winners Mark Martin and Tony Stewart are starting near the back as well, and the same goes for Kevin Harvick, who rides a two-race winning streak entering this weekend's race. With plenty of big names in the back, the action should get going early when the race goes green. More Articles You Will Like
