Browns running backs coach Gary Brown conducted the workout. Vereen ran the 40-yard dash in 4.49 seconds at the NFL Scouting Combine, and he benched 225 pounds 31 times.


Wide Receiver

WR | James Kirkendoll | NFL Draft Prospect | Draft
University of Texas WR James Kirkendoll measured 5-foot-9 7/8, 174 pounds at his Pro Day Tuesday, March 29, reports Gil Brandt, of NFL.com. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.41 seconds, 4.42 seconds and 4.47 seconds, the short shuttle in 4.15 seconds and the three-cone drill in 6.92 seconds. He also measured a 38-inch vertical jump and an 11-foot broad jump.

The Baltimore Ravens met with University of Maryland WR Torrey Smith Tuesday, March 30, reports Aaron Wilson, of NationalFootballPost.com.

WR | Brian Hartline | Miami Dolphins | Fantasy
Miami Dolphins head coach Tony Sparano singled out WRs Brian Hartline and Marlon Moore as speedy receivers already on the team's roster, reports Ben Volin, of the Palm Beach Post. "Brian (Hartline) can run," Sparano said. "I don't know that people would classify Brian as a speed guy, but I do. (Moore) might be the fastest guy that we have." WR Julius Pruitt, mostly a practice squad guy in 2010, also has elite speed.

He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.78 seconds and 4.83 seconds, the short shuttle in 4.30 seconds and the three-cone drill in 7.15 seconds. He also measured a 39-inch vertical jump at the workout.

Chicago Bears offensive coordinator Mike Martz indicated that he sees TE Greg Olsen receiving a bigger role in the offense next season, reports Vaughn McClure, of the Chicago Tribune.

Miami Dolphins head coach Tony Sparano said Tuesday, March 29, that OT Jake Long (shoulder) is still recovering from shoulder surgery, and he wouldn't have participated much in the offseason program had it gone on as normal this spring, reports Ben Volin, of the Palm Beach Post. Long is expected to be ready for the regular season, whenever that is.

University of Texas OG Mike Huey measured 6-foot-4, 304 pounds at his Pro Day Tuesday, March 29, reports Gil Brandt, of NFL.com. He ran the 40-yard dash in 5.16 seconds and 5.18 seconds, the short shuttle in 4.60 seconds and the three-cone drill in 8.31 seconds. He measured a 33 1/2-inch vertical jump, a 9-foot-5 broad jump and completed 35 repetitions on the 225-pound bench press.


Offensive Line

Free-agent LB Dhani Jones (Bengals) is among the many candidates trying to replace comedian Gilbert Gottfried as the AFLAC duck, according to The Cincinnati Enquirer. Gottfried was replaced after making insensitive jokes about the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. Jones has television experience hosting 'Dhani Tackles the Globe' on the Travel Channel.

UCLA S Rahim Moore ran the short shuttle in 4.16 seconds at his Pro Day Tuesday, March 29, reports Bucky Brooks, of NFL.com. He showed excellent footwork, movement skills and quickness while doing position drills. He moved effortlessly in his turns and transitions and show very good ball skills.
