Denny Hamlin

Engine issues have plagued Joe Gibbs Racing all season long, but a short track like Martinsville could be just what the doctor ordered. The lower speeds should be a bit kinder to the JGR power plants. That is good news for fantasy owners because all three JGR drivers qualified in the top 11 at a place where track position is at a premium.

The teammates have been pretty darn strong at Martinsville as well. All three drivers finished in the top-six last fall, and they would have swept the top-three spots in the April race if not for Kyle Busch cutting a tire with two laps to go. I haven't even mentioned that Denny Hamlin has won the last three races at the track.

It has been a frustrating year for the JGR organization and the fantasy owners that depend on its stable of drivers. That could all change Sunday when three of Martinsville's best start near the front of the field. Fantasy owners need to forgive and forget and load up on the JGR drivers.
