Texas cornerback Aaron Williams chose to enter the 2011 NFL Draft following his junior season. He finished his Longhorns career with solid but unspectacular numbers: 45 total tackles, 1.0 sack, two interceptions in 2010.

Expected draft placement

Williams should be a late first- or early second-round choice in April's draft. He has the size teams look for at the position and, with a little coaching, could develop into a formidable player for years to come. Some draft analysis have alluded to Williams moving to free safety; if he does, it won't be until after an extensive trial at cornerback.

The Pittsburgh Steelers (No. 31) and Green Bay Packers (No. 32) are both in the market for a cornerback like Williams. If he fails to go in the first round, expect the Buffalo Bills (No. 34), Cincinnati Bengals (No. 35), Denver Broncos (No. 36), Arizona Cardinals (No. 38), Dallas Cowboys (No. 40) and Washington Redskins (No. 41) to all be strong possibilities to draft him.
