The Arizona Cardinals could have interest in Missouri QB Blaine Gabbert with the No. 5 overall pick in the NFL Draft, according to CBSSports.com. The Cardinals need an upgrade at the quarterback position, and Gabbert is considered the highest-rated quarterback prospect in the draft.

Updating a previous report, Dallas Cowboys quarterbacks coach Wade Wilson said QB Tony Romo (collarbone) is back to normal, reports David Moore, of The Dallas Morning News. "He's throwing great," Wilson said Thursday, Feb. 17. "His delivery and velocity and revolutions and all that stuff is really, really good. As far as his throwing motion, it's back to normal."

Guard

OG | Claude Terrell | Free Agent | Transaction
Former NFL OG Claude Terrell was arrested Thursday, Feb. 17, and charged with beating and forcing sex on a Texas City woman at gunpoint, according to The Telegraph. Terrell was arrested in November for assaulting the same woman. He allegedly held the woman for seven hours Monday, Feb. 14, after the woman had dropped her children off at school. Terrell has been out of football since he was released by the St. Louis Rams in 2007 following an arrest for domestic violence. He is still on probation from that arrest and could face up to life in prison for the latest charges.

The Chicago Bears could target the defensive tackle position in the NFL Draft, according to CBSSports.com. DL Tommie Harris has struggled since signing his contract extension, with his sack totals decreasing each season. Harris' lowest career sack totals have come in his last two seasons.

DL | Shaun Rogers | Free Agent | Free Agents
Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Rob Ryan said he is a big fan of free-agent DL Shaun Rogers (Browns) and thinks every team in the league should have interest in him, according to Gerry Fraley, of The Dallas Morning News. "Shaun's a great player, and he's a super talent,'' Ryan said. "So I'm sure he'll have a lot of interest in a lot of places." Ryan danced around the subject when asked if he had recommended Rogers to the Cowboys. Ryan did make it clear that he thinks well of Rogers. "If you're not interested in him, ... I don't know," Ryan said.

Oakland Raiders pending free-agent CB Nnamdi Asomugha's chances of re-signing with the team are slim and none, according to Michael Lombardi, of NFL Network. Asomugha's fate appeared to be sealed after the team re-signed DL Richard Seymour. "I think slim and none, and I would favor none," Lombardi said. "Once Seymour's deal was done, that eliminated Asomugha. Seymour got over $22 million in guaranteed money. Now the Raiders can place the franchise tag on TE Zach Miller, therefore keeping him off the market, and ultimately would really make it difficult for Asomugha to come back. Asomugha is going to be the top free agent when we get to free agency this offseason, and he's going to command a huge deal, something the Raiders can't really pay."

The Denver Broncos could be interested in selecting Clemson DL Da'Quan Bowers with the No. 2 overall pick in the NFL Draft, according to Mike Klis, of The Denver Post.

The Atlanta Falcons signed DL Trey Lewis to a contract extension Thursday, Feb. 17. Terms of the deal were undisclosed.

Jenkins is scheduled to make $3.75 million next season and the Jets will have to decide if they are willing to bring him back in 2011.
