Bailey plans to throw bullpens every three days while mixing in offspeed pitches. He wants to have 8 to 10 appearances by the beginning of April. "I'm on track for Opening Day," Bailey said. "In my mind, I'll be ready. As I continue throwing the first couple of bullpens, everything will kind of pan out after that. I'll get in enough games to where I'll be fine." He has gained 15 degrees of elbow extension after his surgery.

Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim RP Jason Bulger (shoulder) said he is 100 percent healthy this spring, according to MLB.com's Lyle Spencer. "I'm full go," Bulger said. "I've been (throwing) off the mound, letting it go. I'm not having any problems. I'm familiar with rotator cuff pain - I went through that four years ago. Rest is the biggest thing. I hurt the shoulder at the end of May, came back to pitch the last month and then took a month off. I did my exercises and started throwing again, and I'm feeling great."

RP | Matt Palmer | Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim | Injury
Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim P Matt Palmer (knee) has a redesigned delivery that is giving him more arm extension and leg thrust, according to MLB.com's Lyle Spencer. Palmer underwent surgery on his knee last October. "With this delivery, it's more natural. It allows me to stay back longer and come through with my leg drive and extension. The past five or six years, with a back injury I had, I was going across my body. It wouldn't let me do it the natural way," Palmer said.

The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim clearly have not completely solved their closing situation for this season, according to The Orange County Register's Bill Plunkett. The first day, too, there's been a couple times when I haven't participated in that day, so to be 100 percent and throwing without pain and throw (bullpen sessions) with the guys and joke around, it's always a pleasure." Zumaya mixed in off-speed pitches during his session Monday.
