Oakland Raiders head coach Hue Jackson confirmed in a radio interview Monday, Jan. 31, that QB Jason Campbell is entrenched as the starter heading into 2011, reports Jerry McDonald, of ANG Newspapers. "No question. I mean, there's no question he is," Jackson said. "The guy won some very important games. The guy played hurt. The guy got to know his teammates, rallied his team, and finished very strong."


Wide Receiver

WR | Limas Sweed | Pittsburgh Steelers | Injury
Pittsburgh Steelers WR Limas Sweed (Achilles') said he believes he is in the team's plans for next season, reports Mark Kaboly, of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. Sweed has missed the 2010 season because of an Achilles' injury.

Green Bay Packers LB Frank Zombo (knee) said he is completely healed for the knee injury he was dealing with and expects to play in Super Bowl XLV, reports Gary D'Amato, of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. "I practiced all last week," Zombo said. "Felt really good. Felt real confident. I didn't have any pain or anything like that, so I'm looking forward to the game."


Cornerback

CB | Bryant McFadden | Pittsburgh Steelers | Injury
Pittsburgh Steelers secondary coach Ray Horton said he expects CB Bryant McFadden (abdomen) to be 100 percent healthy by Super Bowl XLV, reports Bob McGinn, of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
