QB | Matthew Stafford | Detroit Lions | Injury
Updating a previous report, Detroit Lions LB Zack Follett said the term "china doll" was a poor choice of words when referring to QB Matthew Stafford in a radio interview earlier Tuesday, Jan. 25, reports Dave Birkett and Carlos Monarrez, of the Detroit Free Press. "I was just, basically, referring to how he's been injured," Follett said. "I guess I'd say it's a wrong choice of words, obviously. I didn't mean anything real impactful by it in saying that he can't lead this team."

QB | Todd Collins | Chicago Bears | Injury
Chicago Bears QB Todd Collins (shoulder) passed his exit physical Tuesday, Jan. 25, and did not need to undergo an MRI exam on his injured shoulder, according to NFL Network's Albert Breer. Collins will debate retirement this offseason.

QB | Tony Romo | Dallas Cowboys | Injury, Fantasy
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said QB Tony Romo (shoulder) is on schedule in his rehab, according to ESPNDallas.com's Calvin Watkins. Romo could have played at the end of last season, but Jones was happy that the team chose to put Romo on Injured Reserve instead.

Miami Dolphins RB Ricky Williams acknowledged he might return in 2011 to play one more season, reports Steve Svekis, of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. "I'm excited," Williams said Tuesday, Jan. 25. "I'm excited about it. I think, coming into the season, I had a lot of questions about my future about whether my body, whether my mind could take another season. But I'm the kind of guy where I'm always trying to figure things out, always try to learn more. And I think this past year, I got a good idea of the right formula for me to stay healthy, to stay happy and to stay successful. And if I can do those things, I want to keep playing this game."

Updating a previous report, Jacksonville Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew (knee) said his recovery from surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his knee will take four months, reports Tania Ganguli, of The Florida Times-Union. Jones-Drew said his injury was "bone-on-bone" in the back of his knee at the end of the season.

Updating a previous report, Kansas City Chiefs LB Tamba Hali will not be going to the Pro Bowl after being named to the team earlier this week, reports Bill Williamson, of ESPN.com. A source said that Hali is not going because of a personal issue and not because of any injury.

LB | Dan Connor | Carolina Panthers | Injury
Carolina Panthers LB Dan Connor (hip) was able to run Monday, Jan. 24, for the first time since hip surgery forced him to the Injured Reserve list, reports Darin Gantt, of the Charlotte Observer. Connor said he suffered a bone chip in his hip joint during a game against the St. Louis Rams Oct. 31.


Cornerback

Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay said Tuesday, Jan. 25, that his team has no interest in free-agent CB Nnamdi Asomugha (Raiders), according to his official Twitter page. "I'm not signing Asomugha, we play cover 2 n develop and keep r own thru the draft...its worked well 4 us (and the Steelers) The cap restricts," Irsay tweeted.

FS | Jim Leonhard | New York Jets | Injury
New York Jets FS Jim Leonhard (leg) continues to rehab from a broken right leg, and he will meet with a doctor in just over two weeks to gauge how his recovery is going, reports Ohm Youngmisuk, of ESPNNewYork.com. Leonhard added that he hopes to be back some time around minicamp. "It would be close to that time," Leonhard said Tuesday, Jan. 25. "There is so much that is questionable, it all depends on how your body responds."
