QB | Donovan McNabb | Washington Redskins | Injury, Fantasy
Washington Redskins QB Donovan McNabb (hamstring), who was listed as questionable for Week 8, will start against the Detroit Lions, reports The NFL Network.

QB | Brett Favre | Minnesota Vikings | Injury, Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
Minnesota Vikings head coach Brad Childress still has not told the team's players who will start at quarterback during Week 8 against the New England Patriots, reports Jason La Canfora, of The NFL Network. QB Brett Favre (ankle) is expected to get the starting nod over backup Tarvaris Jackson. The Minneapolis Star Tribune's Judd Zulgad reports the Patriots spent the majority of the week preparing for Favre starting.

Running Back

RB | Steven Jackson | St. Louis Rams | Injury, Fantasy
St. Louis Rams RB Steven Jackson (finger) is active for the team's Week 8 game against the Carolina Panthers, reports ESPN's Adam Schefter. Jackson underwent surgery on a finger earlier in the week.

RB | DeAngelo Williams | Carolina Panthers | Injury, Fantasy
Continuing a previous storyline, the Carolina Panthers officially declared RB DeAngelo Williams (foot) inactive for Week 8, reports ESPN's Adam Schefter. As previously reported, Williams did not travel with the team to St. Louis.

RB | Adrian Peterson | Minnesota Vikings | Fantasy
The Minnesota Vikings will likely rely more on RB Adrian Peterson, who is second in the league with 684 yards rushing this season, during Week 8 against the New England Patriots, reports Kevin Seifert, of ESPN.com. The Vikings have questions at the quarterback position due to QB Brett Favre's ankle injury, so Peterson may be the team's safest option against New England.

Wide Receiver

WR | Deion Branch | New England Patriots | Injury, Fantasy
New England Patriots WR Deion Branch (hamstring) is expected to play against the Minnesota Vikings during Week 8, reports ESPN's Adam Schefter. Branch was listed as questionable for the game with a hamstring injury.

WR | Dexter McCluster | Kansas City Chiefs | Injury, Fantasy
Kansas City Chiefs WR Dexter McCluster (ankle) will not be able to play during Week 8 against the Buffalo Bills, reports Josh Looney, of KCChiefs.com.

Tight End

TE | Vernon Davis | San Francisco 49ers | Injury, Fantasy
San Francisco 49ers TE Vernon Davis (ankle) is active for the team's Week 8 game against the Denver Broncos, reports Matt Maiocco, of CSNBayArea.com. Davis was limited during practice all week and listed as questionable for the game.

Offensive Tackle

OT | Jeff Otah | Carolina Panthers | Injury
Carolina Panthers OT Jeff Otah (knee) and WR Devin Thomas (groin) did not travel with the team for their Week 8 game against the St. Louis Rams, reports Darin Gantt, of The Charlotte Observer. Otah had been ruled out for the game, while Thomas was doubtful on the Panthers' Week 8 injury report.

Defensive Line

DL | Vince Wilfork | New England Patriots | Fantasy
Since the New England Patriots moved DL Vince Wilfork from nose tackle to defensive end two weeks ago, they have allowed opposing teams (the Baltimore Ravens and San Diego Chargers) to average just 2.6 yards per rushing attempt, reports Kevin Seifert, of ESPN.com. That's the lowest mark in the NFL during that time period.

Linebacker

LB | David Thornton | Tennessee Titans | Injury
Tennessee Titans LB David Thornton (shoulder) will begin practicing next week, reports John Glennon, of The Tennessean. Thornton is currently on the Physically Unable to Perform list.
