Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo (collarbone) may miss the remainder of the 2010 season after suffering a fractured left collarbone during a Week 7 loss to the New York Giants, reports Todd Archer, of The Dallas Morning News. Romo will undergo another exam Tuesday, Oct. 26. If he needs surgery, it could bring an end to his season. Romo had X-rays during the game and spent the remainder of it on the sideline with his arm in a sling.

QB | Jon Kitna | Dallas Cowboys | Fantasy
Dallas Cowboys QB Jon Kitna saw his first action since Oct. 5, 2008, when he took over for injured QB Tony Romo (collarbone) during Week 7, reports The Associated Press. Kitna, 38, looked rusty when he hit the field. He finished the game hitting 16 of 33 passes for 187 yards and two touchdowns. Kitna also lost one fumble during the game.

Updating a previous report, Minnesota Vikings QB Brett Favre (ankle) is dealing with an avulsion fracture in his heel bone, which is an injury in a place where a tendon or ligament pulls off a piece of the bone, according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune's Judd Zulgad. "Once he's functional, he can play," head coach Brad Childress said. "As you know he's had ankle and heel problems for a long time so that walking boot makes him a little bit more comfortable and I wouldn't rule anything out in terms of the end of the week. Don't really have a time-frame work on it." Favre will not need surgery.

St. Louis Rams QB Sam Bradford was disappointed by his Week 7 performance in a loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch's Jim Thomas. "I was just off today, and that's really inexcusable," Bradford said after the Rams' 18-17 loss to the Buccaneers. "In a game like this, when your team needs you to put points on the board, and I can't go out and execute, it's just... tough. I gotta get better." He completed just 13 of 26 passes and fumbled once.

"I expect to go out there and see what I can do," Bush said. "I don't know if I can practice, if I'm going to be 100 percent. I'm just going to go out there and give it my best shot. I feel good, but I haven't gone out there."

San Diego Chargers head coach Norv Turner believes RB Ryan Mathews is not yet ready for crunch time, which would explain why Mathews watched from the sideline the entire second half of the team's Week 7 game, according to Kevin Acee, of the San Diego Union-Tribune. RB Darren Sproles, meanwhile, caught six passes for 53 yards in the game's final six minutes. "Please," Turner said. "Darren has been playing that position for four years, and he knows exactly what he's doing in protection. He knows exactly what he's doing with the route. Obviously, when we get into those situations, it takes away the chances to use (Mathews) as a player."
