Oakland Raiders head coach Tom Cable said QB Kyle Boller could start in Week 7 with QBs Bruce Gradkowski (shoulder) and Jason Campbell (knee) nursing injuries, according to The Associated Press. Cable added he would likely make a decision on his starter Wednesday, Oct. 20.

Updating previous reports, Jacksonville Jaguars QB David Garrard (concussion) suffered a concussion during Week 6 against the Tennessee Titans, reports Tania Ganguli, of The Florida Times-Union. He will not return to the game.

Tennessee Titans QB Vince Young (knee) suffered a strained knee during Week 6 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. According to ESPN, his return to the game is questionable. Young was wearing a brace on the sidelines testing his injured leg.

Minnesota Vikings defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier said Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo's running abilities posed more of a threat than his ability to pass in the matchup during Week 6, according to The Dallas Morning News' Gerry Fraley. "We've played against some good quarterbacks," Frazier said. "He (Romo) moves around and runs around. That's the only thing that gives you some trouble."

Updating a previous report, Detroit Lions QB Shaun Hill (forearm) will probably have screws inserted into his broken forearm and have it braced, reports The Detroit News' Chris McCosky. Hill said the broken forearm won't sideline him for an extended period. It'll likely come down to a matter of how much pain he can endure. The Lions won't likely bring in another quarterback.


Running Back

The extent of Indianapolis Colts RB Joseph Addai's (shoulder) shoulder injury has not been diagnosed, according to CBSSports.com. However, Addai did not appear to have sustained a separated shoulder in Week 6. "It did not appear to be a separated shoulder or anything like that," team president Bill Polian said. "That's kind of the good news. We'll know more later in the week."

RB | Darren Sproles | San Diego Chargers | Fantasy
San Diego Chargers RB Darren Sproles would like to have the football more, according to Kevin Acee, of the San Diego Union-Tribune. Sproles is on pace for just 90 touches, 48 fewer than last season. But he is also working on accepting his role and taking his touches as they come. "I was trying to do too much," Sproles said. "I've learned just now to relax."

Green Bay Packers rookie RB James Starks (hamstring), who has been on the PUP all season, likely won't make an immediate impact, reports Jason Wilde, of ESPNMilwaukee.com. Head coach Mike McCarthy hinted that Starks, who missed his senior season of college with a shoulder injury, may not be ready to contribute much because he missed most of the team's offseason workouts and all of training camp. McCarthy said the team is evaluating him differently than their other players coming off of the PUP because they just want to get him on the field in pads and see how he does in that environment.

Dallas Cowboys RB Felix Jones caught 10 passes in the team's Week 6 game against the Minnesota Vikings after never having more than four catches in a game, according to The Dallas Morning News' Todd Archer. Jones also received the majority of carries (14) for the second straight week. The 14 carries were the second most in his career.

The Detroit Lions managed just 64 rushing yards and averaged only 3.0 yards per carry against the New York Giants in Week 6, reports The Detroit News' Chris McCosky. "They played a lot of plays designed to take the run game out," head coach Jim Schwartz said. "They ran a lot of eight-man fronts, lining up linebackers on the line of scrimmage. They were going to make it very difficult to run the ball." QB Drew Stanton was the team's leading rusher with 30 yards while RB Jahvid Best managed just 16 yards on 12 carries.

"When he came to the sidelines, you could tell he was a little bit drowsy, he couldn't see out of his left eye a little bit for a second," Davis said. "He's a warrior.
