Fantasy baseball waivers and the acquisition of fantasy baseball free agents can make or break your season. Your fantasy baseball cheat sheets won't help you after spring training. If your team remains the same after opening day, you will have trouble competing in your rotisserie baseball league. Do you need to replace your fantasy baseball busts? Which fantasy baseball players can you ignore? KFFL.com's Fantasy Baseball Diamond Market gives you fantasy baseball tips and insight to sort through the masses quickly. Key
OutfieldersWill Venable, OF, San Diego Padres
Venable is 18-for-34 with a homer, nine runs and two steals in his last 10 games (nine starts). No doubt, some good fortune is a factor in his hot streak. But the left-handed hitter credits a change in his stance for this boom. Raising his elbow has allowed Venable to be on top of the ball and catch up to fastballs much more easily, he says. He's striking out less often and, as such, putting it in play, with authority, more often. He's a power-speed threat with 13 dingers and 28 swipes in 376 at-bats already. That's the kind of adjustment that can be seen statistically over the long haul, perhaps something that could carry into next season. Forget 2011 for now, though, and see if Venable can help you finish 2010 on a positive note.
